Biography

Sophie is qualified with a Bachelor of Science (Psychology and Psychophysiology) and a Master of Occupational Therapy from Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne Australia. She is currently working with ACNS through the Australian Volunteers Program and will be based in Nepal for 1 year. She has been exploring everything what Nepal has to offer including Newari cuisine with buffalo tongue and mutton brain. She is enthusiastic about utilising play and creative approaches when working with children and their families to build their independence and confidence, and to help empower them to reach their goals. Sophie has completed further training in DIR Floortime and Tuning Into Kids equipping her with the skills to support children with diverse developmental needs.
