Anjana is a parent of a 24-year-old individual with autism and has been actively engaged in the field of autism support and advocacy for many years. She has been associated with AutismCare Nepal Society since its early years.
Biography
Anjana is a parent of a 24-year-old individual with autism and has been actively engaged in the field of autism support and advocacy for many years. She has been associated with AutismCare Nepal Society since its early years. In 2013, she received specialized training in vocational education at Action for Autism, Delhi which played a key role in establishing a vocational unit within the organization. To enhance the vocational unit, she also visited Sweden in 2015. Anjana dedicated approximately four years as a volunteer vocational trainer, supporting the development of skills and independence among individuals with autism. At present, she serves as the Vice Chairperson of the organization.
